  2. SYMPTOMS include recurring hearing loss, dizziness, nausea, vomiting,
  3. ringing in the ear and may include nystagmus (oscillation of the eyeball).
  4. CAUSES are unknown at this time. It is a disturbance of the inner ear.
  5. TREATMENT. To help relieve the symptoms, medication is usually prescribed.
  6. .If severe, surgery may be required.
